LETBOND® Two-Component Potting Compounds Adhesives

Description

The LETBOND® Two-Component Potting Series (5350-1, 5350, and 8719) is specifically engineered for the potting, filling, and encapsulation of electronic components, combining mechanical strength, electrical insulation, and thermal stability. Models 5350-1 and 5350 are black, flame-retardant formulations that comply with UL 94 V-0 (RTI: 90°C) standards, making them ideal for high-reliability electrical applications. Model 8719 is a clear, low-viscosity formulation designed for applications requiring visualization and high-flow encapsulation.

Features

  • Flame Retardant Certification: Models 5350-1 and 5350 are certified to meet UL 94 V-0 (RTI: 90°C) standards.
  • Diverse Options: Available in black viscous (5350-1, 5350) and clear (8719) versions to meet various aesthetic and process requirements.
  • Operational Flexibility: Simple mixing ratios with the ability to cure naturally at room temperature or be accelerated with heat.
  • Excellent Physical Properties: Features high insulation, low water absorption (<0.5%), and excellent thermal shock resistance.
  • Reliable Protection:Suitable for environments ranging from -40°C to +150°C, providing stable, long-term protection.

Applications

  • 5350-1: Encapsulation of PCB components and anti-theft potting for electronic modules requiring high reliability.
  • 5350: Potting for automotive spark plug high-voltage coils; ideal for high-temperature and high-voltage environments.
  • 8719:Clear, low-viscosity potting resin for electronic component protection and detailed filling where visual inspection is required.
